Swiston`s Beef & Keg in Tonawanda

Swinton has always had a short menu, it use to be just beef on weck or chili. Now they have added wings, fries and onion rings. The food is always good, the service not bad. You can either sit inside or on the deck above the canal. You can either park your vehicle in the parking lot or tie your boat up in the canal. Great place. I've been going there for 40 years.

It was okay they're lacking on the roast beef and not so good on their chicken wings we like them crispy they weren't crispy at all

I was a little disappointed because they took the cheese off the menu and the Asus jus was not up to par. The bartender was very friendly and engaging. This is always my 1st choice whenever I come to Tonawanda and I will still go back numerous times.

Back up until maybe 10 years ago, this great place used to offer no food other than freshly popped popcorn from the popcorn machine in the bar, and also just their signature beef on weck (came with a jar of FRESH Horseradish)and their excellent chili. And believe you me, if you had just those three items after drinking an ice cold draft birch beer that came from just down the road at Eroquois Birch Beer company (an absolute requirement) along with any other of their fine potent potables you would be MORE than satisfied! Nowadays I guess that they offer up a much more extensive menu to include wings and fish fries, to name just two new additions. I reckon I am going to have to make a trip back into the CTON and to Swiston's to give some of these new menu offerings a try!

The service was great, the waitress was kind, friendly and attentive to our table and the food was just as good i most definitely will be back

Went for the chicken wimgs & enjoyed listening to the band that was playing.

We had wings, chili, fries and beef. The beef was tender and moist. The chili was spicy and delicious. The fries were good too.

Kind of a dive bar, but they have decent chili and really good beef on weck.

They run out of a lot of stuff but staff is awesome and view can be nice

Awesome food! We had the beef on weck with french fries, garlic parm wings and mild wings - all of it was phenomenal, will definitely come back in the future!

I was kind of kareny and not only Is the waitress just such a beautiful woman and wonderfully handled my hufflepuffing. She gave us a fresh bun for the roast beef. The food was sooooo good. My boyfriend and I split the beef on weck and the chicken finger and I'm pretty sure its safe to say were still debating on going back for more chicken fingers before they close lmfao. Like we both were like we should have just gotten. 2 fingers. Both meals however were amazing and the customer service. Love them. Will be back. Prices are beyond reasonable. Customer for life. Really not understanding how they dont already have 5 stars. Thanks for my new favorite place guys.

Good roast beef casual atmosphere can go by boat

Worst service ever. Went inside and waited to be taken care of. After 10 minutes of standing and waiting to be offered to be seated I was informed it was seat yourself. Sat outside for 15 more minutes and had to go in to find someone to give me a menu. When I finally got a menu, we waited and waited until a waitress finally came over. She rudely asked if we were taken care of. When we said no, she said what do you want and then disappeared. We never recieved our food and never saw or server again. If you're ever thinking of even trying this place I urge to find anywhere else because I believe you'll be much happier.

Pull up on the boat! Get you a beef on weck, drink some beer, eat the free popcorn. Good good stuff!

Friendly lil bar serving free popcorn and fried up favorites like shrimp, fingers, wings and roast beef and a selection of beers. Very pretty views of Ellicottville Creek.

Just stopped there as they had a tent outside during Canal Fest selling chicken souvlakis. They were great tasting! Would recommend anyone walking or driving to the canal fest to stop by and try one. They are only $6.00. There is no lines like at the canal fest and have them done in less than a minute. A+++

Old, dark sticky, employees having be way too much fun at the bar.

Pretty good. There is better beef on weck around in my opinion but it is good and gets the job done. Chili is very good. Bar scene was nice big pool table with plenty of space to play.

Great, very casual restaurant and bar with a very friendly staff. Beef on weck was great. Prices aren't bad either. Limited menu, mostly bar type of food. One of the only places I know of that still has a working phone booth!

We love the roast beef.. if you would have gotten it.. service was the worst.. waitress never took our order .. 30 minutes late we left

As an over the road Truck driver, it was nice to have a home cooked dinner instead of a Microwaved frozen dinner. Five stars from me. !!!!
